Maifith Design Inc. is an established design company based in Toronto, Ontario. We stand strong among our fellow design and advertising firms in Toronto by keeping our skills honed with the most up to date technology and software.

Maifith Design inc boasts an international client base with clients ranging from architectural firms to universities and from local pubs to international clubs. Since its inception in October, 2001, Maifith Design inc has steadily grown into a leading design, development, and consulting company for print and web.

Our philosophy is to give our clients 110% of our attention. We are a hands-on company and will never hire a middle man or salesman to do our jobs. We will work with you to develope and implement a strategic plan that focuses on a few key areas; Advertising, Web Design, Print Design and Corporate Identity/Branding. Melanie Holden // Creative Director & CEO

Melanie first entered the design world in 2000 when she was attending Mohawk College for their Web Development Program. In 2002 she attended George Brown College for web development and print design.

She quickly developed skills as a web/graphic designer using programs such as Adobe Photoshopâ„¢, Macromedia Dreamweaverâ„¢ and Macromedia Fireworksâ„¢ then expanded her knowledge of commonly used design applications to include the full Adobe Creative Suiteâ„¢.

Melanie and Chad began Maifith Design inc in 2001 as a trial to see if they could make it work.  2001 was a very busy year for them.  Struggling to learn what she needed to know by trial and error, Melanie plodded on and developed her own successful way of communicating with clients.  Melanie took sole ownership of Maifith Design  in 2003 and formed a corporation from the small company in the same year. She has since brought the company to its ever expanding state. Her current interests are in the print publication world.

Chad Holden // Systems Analyst / Developer

Starting at the ripe age of 14, Chad worked in an advertising firm in London, Ontario. Beginning his career in design as a giddy and sponge like co-op student, Chad worked his way up to becoming a junior graphic designer by the time he was 17.

He learned all he needed to know about copiers, paper quality and type, printing presses, pre-press, and design software through his excellent bosses, Tammy and Peter Golinski, at Bogdon Graphics. he decided to continue his education at George Brown College in Toronto. With high grades, a full class schedule, and a great set of instructors, Chad’s future in school looked promising. Before entering his third year at George Brown, he was offered a full time position at the University of Toronto as an Art Director.

It was at this same time, Melanie and He decided to begin Maifith Design inc.

Chad has since taught himself the most frequently used web applications and database languages such as PHP and MySQL; achieved expert level knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite 2â„¢ and The Macromedia Suite 8â„¢; and is in the process of learning AJAX and the DOM model. Chad is currently the Webmaster /Developer for the U of T homepage collections.
